Alex Harris
Photographer in Belgium
People - Moments - Emotions - Memories
These are the things I shoot. I shoot them with a camera, not a gun. I shoot reportage style and I shoot portraits.
Reportage is a way of capturing life as it really happens. It's what photojournalists have done forever, so you know how it grabs your attention. It's real life, not staged, or posed.
I shoot on location and I'll happily turn a corner of your home/office/local cafe into a mini-studio. Or we'll go to your favourite places to shoot those personal moments. Or find a great place to get some beautiful images.
Photography is a great way for us to interact with each other and to create lasting memories, to stimulate emotions.
My aim is to give you something to look back on when most other things in our lives are long since gone.
Other stuff about me? Well, I'm crazy about mountain biking (ask my wife and boys!). If I could I'd ride every day, but I also love to capture the action and adrenalin with my camera. And if I can get that feeling across in my pictures, job done.
Right now I call Belgium home, but for my first 24 years it was England, growing up in the beautiful countryside of Oxfordshire.
