The other is of the bipedal sort, that of neighborhood walking tours around Portland, OR. Deeply involved with the shared community in the Rose City and around the world. Lived in Japan, China, Laos, Thailand, Australia, Vietnam, East Timor, Egypt; widely traveled; student of many languages, author of 6 language books; father of two boys and concerned about the world I leave for them.
