Arcangelo Scattaglia is an expert in computer science and business management with over twenty years of experience at AMTAB S.p.A., where he currently serves as Head of Information Systems. His career has developed through increasing technical and strategic responsibilities, leading innovative projects in the field of urban mobility and the digital transformation of public transport in Bari.
He holds a degree in Information Science from the University of Bari and a Master’s in IT Law, which has allowed him to combine strong technological skills with a solid understanding of data privacy and security regulations. At AMTAB, he has led major high-tech innovation programs, overseeing both the administration of information systems and the strategic management of corporate activities.
Among the key projects he has coordinated are the implementation of video surveillance systems on city buses, the digitalization of automated parking systems, the "Bari in Bici" bike-sharing initiative, and the development of sustainable mobility solutions as part of the European SUMMIT program. He also actively contributed to the “Bari Digital City” project, helping to develop micropayment systems for public services and implementing the MUVT (Urban Mobility, Livable and Technological) program, which transitioned the city’s ticketing systems to a fully Account-Based Ticketing (ABT) model.
Scattaglia possesses a wide range of cross-disciplinary skills, from software and web development to complex system administration and database management. His abilities also include digital graphics and photo editing.
He has held key roles in public tender commissions, including for the institutional website of the Petruzzelli Theatre and the video surveillance systems of AMIU S.p.A., and has served as a trainer in professional development courses. He is the author of Vairus: Diary of a Quarantine and several short stories published in various anthologies. He has also created artistic content as a videomaker.
Socially engaged, he has volunteered in both healthcare and civil sectors with A.N.P.AS., and serves as the AMTAB representative for A.N.D.S.A.I.
