Scene Ripper

Southeastern Michigan

Scene Ripper is the culmination of being a third generation seamstress, my love of theatre from a young age and a passion for all things geeky. After graduating from Savannah College of Art & Design with a BFA in Performing and Fashion, I dabbled in the theatre world as a costume designer. But what I’m really drawn to is creating my own designs, for myself as well as others.
I refuse to design based on runway trends. I am inspired by comic books, horror, sci-fi and fantasy media, historical costume, glam rock, punk rock and Mods – among other things. I believe in having fun with my fun. Embrace your inner weirdo. Break your mold.

Comics: Wonder Woman: Love & Murder, Who is Wonder Woman; Green Lantern and Green Arrow (Dennis O'Neil run); Sandman Chronicles; Johnny the Homicidal Maniac; Green Arrow: Quiver; Hack/Slash; Killing Joke; Arkham Asylum: A Serious House on Serious Earth
