Hi my name is Christine Schaerf and I am a WorkForce Development Representative, who is passionate about assisting people find the job they were always meant to have.

My three job finding rules to live by are:

1. When in a burger joint order a burger. I promise you the spaghetti and meatballs will be disgusting. If you know you are good at something, make sure whatever job you are looking for uses those qualities.

2. Always read the label, or you will end up with unsalted peanuts, and really who wants that. Make sure you are reading the job descriptions carefully, and matching your skills to skills they are looking for. If you just send a uniform resume off to everyone, you chances of success diminish greatly.

3. Social Media is not just for teenagers anymore. Just look at all the NPR reporters who have Twitter accounts! Hate it, love it, however you feel about it, get involved. It is not the wave of the future, it is here now.
