Stephane Cheikh

Stephane is Innovation Manager at SITA Lab, based in Geneva. Within SITA Lab, Stephane is managing several technology research projects for the airline & airport industry.

He has led new innovations like the first Social Network Booking Engine (Facebook application for airline booking and check in online) the first airport WIFI passenger geo-localization (2 patents pending) and lastly the first wearable computing proof of concept in the travel industry.

Stephane is currently working on a few other airline & airport technology trials and proof of concepts, including wearable computing for airport operations, NFC to improve passenger flow in the airport and some Big Data & predictive analytic initiatives.

Last but not least, Stephane is responsible for the organisation of the yearly "SITA Lab | Innovation Day" conference. In charge of selecting and inviting 10 relevant startups focused on specific themes relevant to our industry.

Stephane holds a Harvard University graduate Certificate in Applied Sciences & Information Systems and an undergraduate degree in Economics/Management from University of Montreal . A Canadian and European citizen, he currently lives in Geneva.
