Rachel Schmid is a freelance writer and photogtapher located in Southern California. Her passion for traveling, nature, and people has lead her to become a published journalist. Schmid gains inspiration through hiking, knitting, reading, and traveling.
"I love witnessing unbridaled nature and sharing my wanderlust with others. There's a lot of beauty in our world, and I love the fact that my job is to catpure it and share it," Schmid says.
Schmid was a staff writer for the Saddleback College newspaper (The Lariat), as well as the photo editor for the magazine (Orange Appeal Magazine).
Her hopes for the future include working for National Geographic and backpacking through Europe.
