Scott Schneider

PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

I am a business development Analyst, with experience in Supply Chain and aggressive Sales Entrepreneurship. I graduated from Kennesaw State University with a Bachelor of Science and Related Studies in Business Management and Marketing. While in school I held a management position at lifetime fitness and started my own event planning/entertainment company.

I started my logistics career at CSX Intermodal, headquarters in Jacksonville FL, as a Sales Account Representative. After leaving CSX Intermodal I helped manage my fathers freight forwarding and trailer leasing company. I held a position with FLS Transportation Services Inc. in Sales and Operations and was a Consultant for the American Trucking Association. As of right now I am a Sales Account Rep for Saia Motor Freight Inc.

LIFE

I am an Eagle Scout who loves traveling and the outdoors. I have traveled Europe, South America and recently Asia. I am an active mountain biker, backpacker, rock climber and mountaineer/alpinist. I have ascended Mt. Hood and Mt. Rainier two times and have rock climbed and back packed all over the US. I will be climbing the Grand Tetons in the near future.

DETERMINATION

My knowledge of the supply chain processes, communication skills, meeting deadlines, sales experience, ability to learn quickly, be self motivated, entrepreneurship, together with transportation and rail operations, makes me a perfect choice for any supply chain position.
