Shavonnah Roberts Schreiber

I am Senior Marketing Manager for IHS, Inc., the source for critical information and insight, in the Environment Health Safety & Sustainability business unit. I also own a boutique business development and productivity coaching firm named SNR Creative.

I have been a member of Emerging Leaders (EL), the Houston Downtown Alliance’s (HDA) Young Professional arm for six years. I have served on the EL Steering Committee for consecutive four years, serving as the EL Chairperson in 2009 and 2010. As the chairperson of Emerging Leaders, I was responsible for overseeing the five committees that operate under the EL umbrella, maintaining EL’s annual operating budget and assisting HDA in promoting downtown Houston as a place to live, work and play.

In addition to my work with EL, I serve at the board level or in a leadership capacity in several other non-profit organizations. I am currently working with Houston Young Professionals for the Arts, Bayou City Art Festival VIP Committee, The Texas Bowl Events and Hospitality Committee, LIVE Consortium, The Houston Grand Opera Opening Night (O.N.) and Houston Achievement Place. I am also a member of the Women’s Energy Network, Houston Area Urban League and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

I’m a native Houstonian. I graduated of the University of Arizona with a B.A. in Communications and Journalism and also received an MBA from the University of St. Thomas here in Houston.
