Schuyler Koven

Atlanta, GA, US

Corporate executive Schuyler Koven enjoys a wide range of hobbies in his free time. He has a longstanding interest in baseball that was nurtured by childhood visits to watch his hometown team play at Yankee Stadium. A collector of MLB autographs, he obtained prized signatures from Chris Chambliss and Reggie Jackson, as well as a game-used Rickey Henderson bat. Schuyler Koven also has a love of flying and airplanes, and plans to work toward a private pilot's license in the future.

Another passion of Mr. Koven’s is exotic and classic cars, especially high-performance models such as the Porsche 911 Carrera. This iconic air-cooled rear engine car was launched in 1965 and continued with the same basic look, feel, and engine-type until the late 1980s. With ample driver and front passenger room, and very little backseat space, the 911 featured an unusual left-side ignition placement that had its roots in the Le Mans racing competition. By the time of the first-generation 911’s retirement, it had risen in price from under $7,000 to more than $50,000, and in performance from 130hp to 214hp. Schuyler Koven is also a fan of older Ferrari Testarosa models, which first went into production in the mid-1980s.
