Andrew Schwegler

Schwegler is a web developer based out of Atlanta. He has a passion for design and UX and a strong background in Ruby on Rails development. He likes working on a team and building new and unique things.

For the past year, he Worked at BLiNQ Media building an automated ad service that would take data feeds and buy ads on Facebook and other social networks. It was structured using micro-services in Rails 4 that spoke using Thrift paired with a front-end in Angular 1.3. He was a part of building the whole stack and worked closely with both the architect and the UX designer.

Before that, he was a one-man developer team for a small, rural ISP in Southwest Georgia. He implemented a modified SCRUM approach and aimed to help with the goal of an internet for all.

And, if we're going back any further, Schwegler has a passion for politics and even earned a Bachelors in Political Science from UGA while a sibling in (and eventual president of) the Phi Kappa Literary and Debate Society that was founded in 1820.
