I am Ashley (25/10/1994)

I am a student. I study Tudor History, Use of Maths, Psychology and Classical Civilisation at college. I wish to study History at university.

I am an ardent reader. If you left me in a room full of books for hours, I would be content. I would take my pick and read, then grow curious and pick another book. My favourite kind of books are fiction/non fiction history (usually medieval) and some fantasy books. Like, I'm a big fan of Skulduggery Pleasant.

I am somewhat of a poet. One that struggles to write often and is very intermittent. It's hard for me to be satisfied with anything I do write, but occasionally I am.

I also listen to a lot of music, and it varies quite a bit in my tastes but I a a fan of femme/symphonic rock/metal, with bands like; Indica, Delain, Within Temptation and Xandria coming under that bracket. Other music artists I love don't fit that mold quite as much such as; Kate Bush, Blackmore's Night and The Cranberries.

I don't watch too much TV, but basically, I don't have at theme within things that I watch; I like sci-fi such as Sanctuary, fantasy such as Merlin, crime such as Rizzoli and Isles and comedy such as the wonderfully lovely Miranda and, of course, the Vicar of Dibley.

As aforementioned, I am a history fan. Things I've studied that have captured my interest are the reign of the Tudor Dynasty and The Wars of the Roses, but I will be happy to learn about anything medieval really. My favourite historical figures are Katherine of Aragon and Margaret of Anjou.

I am an introverted person who tends to be terrified of loud, unfamiliar people. However, as long as you're interesting and not too caught up in smalltalk then I'll be willing to talk to you.

Also. I love hippos!
