Katie is a PhD student at the University of Exeter, funded by the Arts & Humanities Research Council. Her thesis is on ageing femininities in the contemporary fairy tale film. She co-admins @EverydayAbleism; using her experience as a disabled person to support & advise others. Katie has been involved in numerous teaching projects aimed at Key Stage 4 students, and first year undergraduates, as well as delivering several formal and informal talks to students with disabilities.
