I began drawing as a young child, and manipulating color as a form of communication and connection has always brought me joy. My journey is a story of redemption, hope and love, and that is what I hope to convey in my work. Utilizing a variety of mediums varying from charcoal and colored pencil to pastels and oil paints, I do not implement one particular technique.

I attempt to portray the unity of the human soul that transcends cultures, language barriers and social classes, whether real or perceived. If my work causes the viewer to glean that each day is a gift and an opportunity to start fresh and anew, revives hope and shares love, I will consider it a great honor.

I am a wife, mother, homeschool teacher and eater of Southern soul food and all cuisines ethnic. I love to travel, laugh at my husband, snuggle with my kiddo and consume coffee and chocolate.
