Growing up in Terre Haute, Indiana I always loved auto racing. I went to the Indy 500 when I was 12 and it was pretty much all over from there.

I started working at Pi Research in Indy and then moved to Charlotte to open the NASCAR office, after that went to work for Robert Yates Racing to experience the NASCAR team life.

After getting my fill of that had a quick stop at Toyota (the real world) and then realized the "joe lunch pail" life was not for me so I moved onto Champ Car where we had an amazing time with a new car, the DP-01, and I ended up being the 3rd to last guy before the bankruptcy.

Took 2 months off and then ended up at IMSA where I moved to Atlanta, IMSA was then purchased by NASCAR and we moved to Daytona Beach, FL. That clearly would not work and now we are back in Atlanta and loving it.

The 2014 season with IMSA was the most difficult of my career in motorsports so we decided to take the leap and decided to start teg motorsports consulting, that's right working for myself.

It was a big step but we can happily say we have great clients such as NGT Motorsports, Park Place Motorsports, MOMO, the Motorsports Safety Foundation and the Mazda Road to Indy!

We have started the next chapter in life and this one seems like it may be the best chapter yet!
