Scot French has more than a decade of experience managing investment portfolios for corporate executives and institutional fund managers.

Scot founded boutique investment firm HP Investments, also known as Hopewell Partnership Investments, in 2015 in Brooklyn. He eventually moved his offices to lower Manhattan, close to Wall Street.

Scot spent his career learning the ropes at several powerful Wall Street investment firms. Like many others, he started as an analyst before becoming a manager, traveling frequently to visit clients and discover lucrative opportunities for investment.

In college, Scot had already begun his self-starting entrepreneurial efforts, publishing a successful financial newsletter called Market Roundup.

The sum total of Scot’s experience led him to a deep knowledge of finance and investment. These include wealth creation and entrepreneurship as well as mergers and acquisitions, IPOs, syndicated leveraged loans, high yield bonds, privately negotiated senior secured debt, asset-based leasing and private equity.

As the leader of Hopewell Investments, Scot continues to pursue investment opportunities throughout North American and international markets.

When he’s not managing his company and helping clients meet their long-term financial goals, Scot can be found with his family or solving algebraic equations. In his other free time, Scot enjoys running and training for marathons.
