Scot C. Putzig

Scot, a Midland native, received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan in 2010. Scot then received his Juris Doctorate with cum laude honors from the University of Notre Dame Law School in 2013 where he was a member of the Journal of Legislation. While attending Notre Dame Law School, Scot clerked with the Federal District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan and the Michigan Supreme Court. He was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in 2013, and after clerking with the Michigan Court of Appeals, Scot joined Shinners & Cook in 2014. Scot focuses on business law, real estate, estate planning and litigation in all three areas.

In addition to the practice of law, Scot enjoys reading, golfing, playing card games and watching professional and college football.
