Scott Aaron Hartmann

Scott is an award winning filmmaker from Oregon. A number of Scott's early short films have been screened at film festivals across the country and have earned him numerous awards. In addition, Scott is proud to be a member of the Eastern Shawnee tribe of Oklahoma, and has most recently turned his enthusiasm, energy and focus towards making the contemporary Native American themed thesis film Mascots as a stepping stone in his filmmaking career. His success is not limited to academics and film making alone. In addition to graduating with honors from Southern Oregon University, Scott was an All-American athlete on the university's track team, where he excelled in the hammer throw. Scott recently completed his MFA in Film Production with an emphasis in Directing from Chapman University.
