Scott Jost
With over 20 years studying, teaching and practicing product design and innovation and a dual MBA in Marketing Management and Corporate Strategy, Scott Jost is equally fluent in both left and right-brained dialects. His area of focus is consumer packaged goods branding and packaging consulting, where he has spent the last 15 years of his career applying design process methodologies to benefit his clients and their brands. In his role as Vice President of Innovation and Design he leads a consulting practice within the US’ largest stocking supplier of rigid packaging. In a few short years he has grown the practice from a 2-person internal service capability to a 15-person nationally recognized industrial design / brand strategy firm in a purpose-built Chicago loop loft space. The procedures and operations processes he developed and implemented have since earned the division ISO 9001:2008 certification. Scott’s brand strategy / industrial design client list spans categories from food and beverage to personal care to medical consumables, and includes such firms / brands as Anheuser-Busch, The Coca-Cola Company, Gillette / Oral-B, Pfizer, Kraft Foods, Nestle, Miller Brewing, Reckitt Benckiser, Colgate-Palmolive, Frito-Lay, Novartis, Medtronic, Johnson & Johnson, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Monsanto and Baxter Healthcare.
