I'm the Publisher at Our Sunday Visitor, the world’s largest English-language Catholic publishing house, and former Editor at Large and monthly columnist for Chronicles: A Magazine of American Culture. For ten years, I was the Catholicism Expert for ThoughtCo (formerly About.com). My articles, reviews, and commentary have appeared in numerous publications, including Chronicles, Humanitas, This World, The Family in America, Crisis Magazine, The Wanderer, Catholic Answers Magazine, The American Spectator, The Catholic Herald (U.K.), OSV Newsweekly, the Rockford Register Star, and the Rock River Times. I've been a guest on many radio and television programs, including Extension 720 With Milt Rosenberg (WGN), The Tom Clark Show (Wisconsin Public Radio), Catholic Answers Live, The Catholics Next Door (Sirius XM), Busted Halo (Sirius XM), The Dan Cheeley Show (Relevant Radio), The Son Rise Morning Show (Sacred Heart Radio), and At Home With Jim and Joy (EWTN).

I served on the board of directors, and as treasurer and president, of the Pregnancy Care Center of Rockford, and current serve on the boards of Junior Achievement-Huntington County and Huntington Catholic Schools. My wife, Amy, and I have eight children and are members of Saints Peter and Paul Parish in Huntington, Indiana.
