My passion is woodworking and the pursuit of creating - a desire for something pleasing to look at, feel and use.

Sometimes art is hidden within the function of a piece and the process of function creates a sense of pleasure and appreciation. That is my goal.

I don't care about trends or working with designers. A painter doesn't consult a designer before painting a landscape or portrait and it's the same for me. I'm an artist in progress.

Sometimes I make something that just doesn't turn out, looks awful or is incredible at the time but later just seems bland and uncreative. That is the process and only helps me on my journey.

I can't say if I will ever become a great woodworker or artist but I can say I'm satisfied with the journey.
