Motivated recent graduate with goal-oriented skills capable of working intensively with students and adolescents

The efforts of my volunteer work inspired my love of philanthropy, but the confusion and helplessness I felt during my adolescence was what truly inspired me to narrow my focus to counseling. Partly stemming from my soft spoken nature, my ability to listen and be empathetic to others has proven to be useful in navigating life in the past, and would be especially useful in a position dealing with adolescents as intimately as in a school counselor position.With this in mind, I made the decision to become that guiding force for the students and adolescents of the future, in order to provide direction and help when needed.
