Scott Bohannon

General Manager of The Corporate Executive Board Company, Scott Bohannon began his studies at Cocoa High School in Cocoa, Florida. In high school, Scott Bohannon excelled as a student, winning many awards such as Most Outstanding Graduate, Class Graduate Representative, and Top Graduate in Physics, English, and Biology. Enrolling at Centre College in Danville, Kentucky, Scott Bohannon continued this level of quality by receiving a Bachelor of Arts summa cum laude in public policy, as well as a Most Outstanding Graduate in Economics & Government award and a Trustee Scholarship. After finishing college, Scott Bohannon enrolled at the University of Virginia School of Law and earned a Juris Doctor several years later. While in law school, Scott Bohannon studied economics at the University of Virginia, gaining a Master of Arts and a Ph.D. in the subject. During the period when Scott Bohannon was studying for his Ph.D., he taught students at the University of Virginia about microeconomics, macroeconomics, and the interrelationship between law and economics. After teaching, the Washington D.C. law firm Sidley Austin LLP hired Scott Bohannon as an Associate. At Sidley Austin LLP, Scott Bohannon practiced energy, technology, and telecommunications law. After finishing his dissertation, Scott Bohannon left Sidley Austin LLP to accept a position with The Corporate Executive Board. Beginning his career at the Arlington, Virginia, consulting firm as a researcher in its General Counsel Roundtable, Scott Bohannon soon handled increased responsibilities. After two years, Scott Bohannon became Managing Director of the General Counsel Roundtable. Eventually, Scott Bohannon gained leadership positions in the company's Legal, Finance, and Middle Market programs, and oversaw its European Research and Member Services divisions. Today, Scott Bohannon serves on The Corporate Executive Board’s Corporate Leadership Team as General Manager of its Legal Practice, Finance, Strategy, and Innovation Practice, and Government Practice groups. In his free time, Scott Bohannon enjoys activities like tennis and playing with his daughters. Active in public service, Scott Bohannon sits on the Board of Directors for The Small Enterprise Education and Promotion (SEEP) Network and The Goyen Foundation, Inc.
