Scott Buescher

Since 1983, Scott Buescher has served as the chief operating officer for Mercedes Homes, LLC, an award-winning Florida firm that he helped grow to the 15th largest homebuilder in the United States. At its peak, Mercedes Homes delivered approximately 6,000 units in 150 communities throughout Florida, Texas, and North and South Carolina each year. Scott Buescher also oversaw the creation of a new market presence, developed business plans for newly created divisions, and personally selected a new division president. Further, he negotiated land acquisition through a special assets committee.

Under Buescher’s leadership, Mercedes Homes has received numerous commendations. These include a National Housing Quality (NHQ) Award, sponsored by the Professional Builder magazine, and designation as the Best company To Work For in 2001 and 2005. Additionally, Buescher and Mercedes Homes have appeared in publications such as Space Coast Living Magazine and Professional Builder.

Buescher has a bachelor of science in business from Edinboro University in Pennsylvania. Outside of work, he maintains membership in several community organizations and serves as a director on the boards of Promise in Brevard and United Way of Brevard.
