Scott Bushley

Scott Bushley is an experienced financial services professional and business executive currently serving as a partner in charge of finance and business operations at the Boston, Massachusetts-based hedge fund manager Granite Point Capital. Prior to joining GPC, Scott Bushley served as head of business operations with the Boston offices of BNY Mellon Investment Management. In this position, he ran Boutique Relations across 10 affiliate investment managers, as well as coordinated resolution plans, offshoring initiatives, and other operations on a global scale. Scott Bushley also provided direct support to the chief operating officer of BNY Mellon Investment Management by executing key projects in fields such as IM data strategy and custody fee review. Scott Bushley formerly held a string of senior leadership positions with BNY Mellon. Before joining the company, he served as an intern and analyst with both Atlantic Trust (now CIBC Private Wealth Management) and Sunflower Capital Partners. He possesses a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in finance from the Boston College Carroll Graduate School of Management. In his free time, Mr. Bushley engages in regular outdoor activities, including cycling and skiing. He is also an active baseball coach who sits on the Board of Directors for the Cohasset Youth Baseball and Softball Association.
