As founder of a defense technology company, Scott Cathcart led the design, engineering, and testing of blast-resistant force protection systems for Forward Operating Bases under a formal CRADA with the U.S. Air Force and AFRL. He also deployed to Baghdad as a civilian guest of the DoD's Task Force for Business and Stability Operations, operating in the Red Zone with full military support, to present a reconstruction framework to the Iraqi Deputy Minister of Construction and Housing.

In pharmaceutical manufacturing, Cathcart built Seven-10 Pharmaceuticals from the ground up in Jamaica's Special Economic Zone, navigating 14 government agencies to secure licenses, GMP certification, and export pathways into the U.S. and Brazil.

In logistics, Cathcart structured an $80 million cross-border supply agreement and a manufacturing partnership capable of producing more than 32,000 modular structures annually.

In endurance sports, Scott Cathcart has completed the Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon 28 consecutive years, a streak that began in 1997 and stands as the longest active in the race's history.
