Support my charity

Whats up? My name is Scotty C. I'm an newly award winning SEN specialist teaching assistant for the South West, UK and on an extraordinary mission in life: so I developed this frontline charity working to alleviate poverty through empowerment, enterprise and education. Sustainability is at the heart of FACE's work – which is why we believe a hand-up is more effective than a hand out. Our aim is to provide innovative and holistic educational and supportive mentoring programmes, which place the power to change firmly in young people’s hands. Our pathway is two-fold: while we aim to empower young African through our field projects in Uganda, we also believe that it is imperative for the youth in the UK to become engaged with today’s pressing global development issues. In 2013 we will start work with schools across the UK promoting interactive learning amongst young people, with the aim of developing attributes of responsible, global citizens!

I know that to accomplish what I want to will take sometime and will have many hurdles to jump but I am well prepared! My weapons are: enthusiasm, passion, creativity, a smile and the desire to make this world a better place for all of us! Some may call me mad but I call myself adventurous we are looking for 10-13 year olds to trek Mt Kilimanjaro in 2014! (also if you a 9 year old who turns 10 yrs old on our way down the mountain then.......)
