Scott Kelly
Pastor and Realtor in Evanston, Illinois
Since 1995, Scott Kelly has served churches in Missouri, Kentucky, Colorado and Illinois in a variety of roles including small group leader, campus minister, deacon, pastoral assistant, associate pastor, church planter and pastor. Scott earned his bachelors degree from Washington University in St. Louis. While ministering the gospel on college campuses with Cru and with his church, Scott continued his education by studying the Bible and Theology at Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis and earned the Master of Divinity degree from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. God has given Scott a great love for university communities like Evanston and he still enjoys campus ministry, especially with international students. Pastor Scott has always enjoyed teaching. Whether it was teaching the other boys in his Boy Scout Troop how to use a map and compass and start campfires, or teaching his high school friends how to ski, or teaching the Bible today, he has always enjoyed how lives are changed by learning and application. Pastor Scott is passionate about God, God’s Word and the spiritual growth of God’s people. His favorite verse of scripture is Isaiah 40:8, “The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever.”
