Before assuming responsibilities as the owner and principal of UP Development, Scott Fish attended Ferris State University. In the time since, he has gone on to build more than 20 years of experience as a commercial real estate developer.

Headquartered in Franklin, Tennessee, Scott Fish leads UP Development in redeveloping existing structures in high-growth urban areas. As part of this focus, he consciously avoids involving the firm in projects that contribute to the suburban sprawl that has led to innumerable foreclosures in areas like Orlando, Florida, where UP Development maintains a second office.

Some of the redevelopment projects that Scott Fish has guided include Orlando Fashion Square Mall, a landmark retail and entertainment center; the Millenia Mall, a 23-acre development in Orlando; and the Shoppes at Alafaya, a $38.4 million project in Orange County, Florida, that had previously been stalled in litigation for several years. These structures house a number of major national retailers, including Dick’s Sporting Goods, Toys "R" Us, and Sears.

To complement Up Development's redevelopment projects, Mr. Fish maintains a staff with experience in design, financial procurement, location analysis, and project management. To learn more about him and his firm, please visit UPDevelopment.com.
