Scott Galer

I am an associate professor of Chinese at Brigham Young University–Idaho and currently serve as the dean of the College of Language and Letters. My fascination with China began in 1985 when I took a beginning Mandarin course as a college freshman. I spent most of 1987 and 1988 living on the southern half of Taiwan and later lived in Wuhan, PRC during 1989-90. I continue to travel to China regularly.
