Scott Gifford specializes in event and business photography. Scott is passionately committed to the art of professional imagery and he’s made it his career since 1996.

Scott has had a love for photography since he bought his first camera in grade school. After finishing college at the University of Florida, Scott joined Sony’s consumer marketing team and helped promote the camcorder industry with the introduction of the Sony Handycam. Scott traveled extensively with Sony until he married and became a dad (he has one son and one daughter). At that point, he decided to change course and make his love of photography his new vocation. Drawing on his knowledge of computers and digital imagery, he launched his first company, SRG Productions. He then created his other two business ventures, devoted exclusively to photography.

Scott’s passion for his work is evidenced in the never-ending study of his craft. He continually explores new techniques and the latest developments in image making. Scott has participated in the Maine Media Workshops (renowned for being facilitated by some of the world’s best photographers) under the direction of American photographer Steve Krongard and world renowned photographer Joe McNally.

Scott is a member of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA) and the Guild of Professional Photographers of the Delaware Valley (GPPDV). PPA is the premier international trade association for professional photographers. PPA and GPPDV members are photographers who are committed to excellence in their craft, ethical business practices, and sharing of their knowledge of photography through continuing education.
