Scott Guglielmi is a second year Ryerson Creative Industries student who is specializing in Media Business and Visual Storytelling!

At a young age Scott traded his ABC's for Do, Re, Mi's and the classroom for the rehearsal room. Now, older and not as cool as he thought he'd be, he's hoping to return to his roots in a new way.

While progressing through his degree at Ryerson, Scott hopes to demystify the world behind the curtain. Going forward, Scott is working to move off of the stage and into casting, writing, directing, and producing in any and all capacities.

Previously, this year Scott was fortunate enough to intern at a premier casting agency in Toronto, working in collaboration with the iconic David Mirvish Productions. His experience back in the audition room (this time behind the table) reassured him of the following:

1. He still does not know the difference between an arabesque and a penché, and would not be able to execute either if asked.

2. There is no place he'd rather continue to work in than the theatre.

3. There is no community better than the theatre community.

While Scott is still at the beginning of his journey he looks forward to bringing a fresh and impassioned perspective to his work alongside his endless supply of pictures of his dog Missy and his vast knowledge of Toronto's best restaurants.
