I took the time to make this page so people can get a feel for who I am, and why I am doing the things that I am doing. I always feel that it is important to understand what the author has been through in life, because what he/she has been through in life will play a part in the way that he/she writes. It gives you more of an understanding behind the philosophies of that particular author's writings, and helps you to connect more with what he/she is trying to say. Now it is time to tell you about myself, so pay close attention and you will understand why I have a blog dedicated to baseball.

I grew up in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago. I have two great parents, and an awesome sister. I had a great childhood, and have nothing but happy memories from my younger days. I played all types of sports growing up, but one that I grew to love was baseball. I had a natural talent for it, and I just loved everything about the game. I played baseball and golf in high school. I was all-area my junior and senior year for golf, and I was all-area my senior year for baseball. I went on to play baseball at a nationally ranked junior college in Illinois, and I learned a ton about all aspects of baseball. My career was cut short because of two shoulder surgeries that I had, and that was the last of my playing days. I got my associates degree, then got certifed as a personal trainer through ACE Fitness. Fitness is another passion of mine, and after my surgeries I became very interested in injury prevention especially for baseball players. So I took a job working as a personal trainer at a gym in the mornings training the general population, just to learn the ins and outs of this career field. I also took a job as a fitness coordinator/instructor/coach at a indoor baseball facility in the afternoons. I figured if I cant play baseball anymore I might as well teach it. So this journey that I have been on, is the reason why I started a baseball blog. I want to spread my philosophies on baseball to large groups of people, so they can understand to play and coach baseball the right way. And to help people to really respect and love the game of baseball as much as I do.
