Scott Jacquish

An entrepreneur and semiprofessional baseball player with a storied career, Scott Jacquish currently serves as General Manager of American Protective Systems Corporation (APS) in Bridgewater, New Jersey. A lifelong New Jersey resident, Mr. Jacquish attended Somerville High School, where he gained statewide recognition as a standout varsity wrestler and third baseman. Named captain of both teams, Scott Jacquish graduated from Somerville High School in 1996 and subsequently enrolled at Middlesex Community College, during which time he helped bring his baseball team to the National Junior College Athletic Association Championship and won selection to the Garden State Athletic Conference 1st Team. Two years later, Mr. Jacquish earned his Associate of Science in Criminal Justice and transferred to The College of New Jersey, building upon his academic and athletic achievements. A business administration major, Scott Jacquish started as catcher for the Division III Lions team until knee injuries forced him into the role of designated hitter.

Eager to start his career, Mr. Jacquish left The College of New Jersey in 2000 to take a position with APS, where today he oversees the sale and installation of security systems for commercial and residential clients. In tandem with APS, Scott Jacquish has been involved with a number of teams in the National Adult Baseball Association (NABA), as both a player and a team manager. Among his accomplishments in this arena, Mr. Jacquish cofounded the New Jersey Clippers, a successful Raritan Valley NABA team; played in the NABA World Championship; and won such honors as the RVNABA All-Star Most Valuable Player Award. At present, Scott Jacquish plays for another RVNABA team, the New Jersey Cubs, who had a successful 2011 season. He lives in Hillsborough Township with his wife and children.
