A longtime Colorado resident, Scott Klumb completed general coursework at Colorado Mountain College in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, before studying postproduction filmmaking at the Colorado Film School in Aurora. After leaving film school to complete his education in the professional sector, Scott Klumb established himself as a recorder of action sports. From 2009 to 2010, he served as a contract employee with ESPN, filming and editing an on-location piece in Breckenridge, and an interview segment for SportsCenter.

Scott Klumb has owned and operated Boulder, CO’s SMK Media for nearly a decade. Through this organization, he has captured kinetic skiing footage, intriguing natural time lapse shots, and a short piece on Boulder, CO, in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. He also directed two short films, Autism: One Man's Journey and Autism Ability, through SMK Media. Mr. Klumb’s experience as a man with autism influences and colors both of these short film projects.
