Scott Kulicke
Scott Kulicke, who recently stepped down as the chief executive officer and president of the semiconductor assembly equipment supplier Kulicke & Soffa (K&S), enjoyed a number of successes over the course of his career. As the head of the company, Scott Kulicke led the business to become one of the largest of its kind. Today, K&S boasts a global market share of approximately 50 percent and it operates several factories throughout Asia in addition to development facilities in Switzerland, Israel, the United States, and elsewhere.
Beyond his nearly forty years of service at K&S, Scott Kulicke has lent his talents to several other organizations. He served on the boards for Xetel Corporation and General Semiconductor Corporation. He also spent eight years on the board of the Semiconductor Equipment and Materials Institute (later renamed Semiconductor Equipment and Materials International). The group is comprised of thousands of member firms that are committed to creating safety and innovation standards in the semiconductor industry.
