Scott grew up in Michigan, where he enjoyed playing interscholastic sports, as well as, hunting and fishing near his home in rural Michigan. His father owned and operated a furniture store where Scott learned the values of hard work first hand. He graduated from Central Michigan University and thereafter accepted a scholarship to attend law school in Orlando, Florida at the Barry University Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law located in Orlando, Florida. Scott earned his Juris Doctorate from Barry in 2010.
While attending Barry, Scott was selected as a member of Moot Court. Scott quickly earned a reputation for getting results for his clients through his willingness to stand up for their rights. After practicing for eight weeks, Scott gained significant recognition when he was held in contempt by the Hon.
