I am an emerging media evangelist and strategist living in Santa Barbara, CA. For the last 14 years I have been involved in the creation of rich media content and been in pursuit of the tools to help companies deliver it in the most impactful way online.

I am well-versed in many forms of digital marketing including video, email, social media, affiliate and search. From May 2007 until March 2010, I served as Director of Emerging Media & Strategy at MediaTrust – a performance marketing company. During my tenure, I created a social media and content strategy that built brand affinity, acquired customers and positioned MediaTrust’s management team as thought leaders in the online marketing space. This strategy helped take MediaTrust’s revenue from $400,000 in 2006 to $38 million in 2008 and placed them in the Inc. Magazine 500. MediaTrust was ranked the 9th fastest growing private company in the United States in 2009.

In May of 2010, after launching my own consulting business, I was tasked with creating a video series for eBay’s in-house affiliate program about the state of affiliate marketing and eBay’s role within that space. In March of 2011, I was asked to expand my role by revamping their blog and social media strategy with a focus on humanizing the brand and revitalizing their reputation. In only a few short months, we positively changed the conversation and brought marked improvement to the tone and voice of eBay Partner Network’s communication.

In October 2012 I joined eBay full-time and currently serve as Global Communications Manager for eBay Partner Network. My role sets the strategy and execution of all customer-facing content, communication and PR globally.

My goal is to continue to work with people that understand the power of original content and the impact of social communities, and how these conversations can enhance engagement with brands and bring in actionable new leads and insight.
