From a young age, Scott Reed was always amazed by animals. Why do dogs stick to your side? How come cats are great companions, but still so independent? These questions led Scott to his veterinary career, discovering a whole world of medicine dedicated to the health animals.
Scott Reed attended graduate school at the University of Florida's Veterinary School for graduate school to receive his DVM. Here, he focused on companion animal medicine and pathology.
He received a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry at Virginia Tech University. Then Scott became boarded in canine and feline medicine by the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners. Even though he owned a variety of animals growing up, ranging from snakes, lizards, turtles, rabbits, dogs, and even a ferret, Scott works primarily with canines and felines
Now Scott Reed DVM works as a Diagnostic Pathologist for the Texas A&M Veterinary Medical Diagnostic Lab. He is responsible for providing anatomic and clinical pathology services for a very busy laboratory.
