Scott Rocher is a software engineer and executive with over 10 years experience using technology like Ruby on Rails, Memcached, Squid, PHP, Symfony2, Javascript, CSS, and HTML5 to build high-scale content and eCommerce web products. He is the Director of Engineering for Blue Bottle Coffee. Previously, he was Chief Technology Officer for Tonx which was acquired by Blue Bottle in April 2014.

Scott previously worked as a Front End Engineer for Yahoo! Entertainment, helping build the next generation of global Movie and TV websites. He was an early employee and lead engineer at Santa Monica daily deal startup FamilyFinds. After moving to Atlanta in 2011, he helped Half Off Depot significantly grow revenues by expanding their ecommerce platform. In May 2010, he sold a food truck aggregator Cluster Truck, to a local LA entrepreneur.
