Scott Rosenberg

I'm a writer and editor who fell in love with the Web in 1994 and is still feeling it. I cofounded Salon.com in 1995 and worked there as technology editor, managing editor and Senior VP of operations for a decade. Then I wrote DREAMING IN CODE and SAY EVERYTHING. After that I won a grant from the Knight Foundation to create MediaBugs.org. From 2011 to 2014 I was executive editor and head of product at Grist.

I started blogging at Salon in 2002 and these days my blog is at Wordyard.com. Before the Web I was the theater critic, movie critic and digital culture columnist for the San Francisco Examiner, where I worked from 1986 to 1995. I live in Berkeley with my family and play loud guitar chords whenever I get the chance.
