Scott Russian is an investment professional with 15 years of experience, during which he has served a broad range of clients. In 2019, Scott Russian opened SCR Consulting, providing wealth management companies, among others, with portfolio management and financial research services.
Before this, Mr. Russian spent 12 years as a director at Liberty Mutual Investments. While there, he conducted credit metric analysis and financial modeling, in support of several actively managed bond and loan portfolios.
During his time with Liberty, Scott Russian also became progressively more responsible for underwriting investments in these portfolios. In addition, he co-managed a loan portfolio worth over $1 billion that consistently maintained top quartile status. He also mentored several junior analysts while performing extensive risk analysis before suggesting an investment. Throughout this time, he focused on fundamental analysis, a philosophy he follows at SCR Consulting.
A music lover and season-ticket holder, he regularly attends the Boston Symphony Orchestra.
