Scott Dj SkitJointz Seabrooks

Dj Skitjointz was born in Brownsville Brooklyn, later moving to Co-op City in the Bronx where he grew up and crafted his style through Hip Hop. He went to Harry S. Truman High School which produced the likes of MC Raheem (Furious 5), Christopher Williams (R&B Crooner), Rod Strickland (NBA Basketball Star), Josie Harris (In Living Color, Fly Girl) to name a few, and produced so many more stars. At the age of 12 him and a few of his friends, most notable Kelly K-tel Booker (R.I.P.) started a hip hop group called the Dominating Force with Theo, Rich and Mousey. They did house parties and block parties in the surrounding neighborhoods where Skitjointz then known as MC Onski would rock the mic with his crew (his style similar to Dot-a-Roc and Grand Master Caz)... After about a year and a half the crew would part ways but Skitjointz still had that burning desire to make music. In 1980/81 he started going to clubs like Bonds International, Broadway 96, The Fun House and Fresh 14, where he got hooked on Dance/House music. In 1985/86 his friend music promoter Rob Jackson took him to the Paradise Garage for the 1st time and he was instantly hooked after hearing Larry Levan play. Then in 1991 his friend K-Tel (Kelly Booker R.I.P.) reached out to him to record some demos. They started working together again recording in Grand Master Flash's recording studio in Harlem. Nothing really clicked for them so they parted ways. In 1994 Skitjointz started making mixed tapes and selling them as a side hustle along with working a 9-5 job in the city at The Hilton New York, but he still had that burning desire to rock the party. While at the Hilton New York he met Dj Ruben R who asked him to join a record pool, but Skitjointz wasn't interested (kicking himself for not joining them). The music think kind of fell by the wayside. He kept all his CD's but sold his entire vinyl catalog. Then in 2008 he met his friend and fellow Dj Sergino an Dj Tano and that fire was re-kindled. They formed a collective known as SK Movements where they would do all kinds of parties (mostly Reggae/Dancehall style music). He knew deep inside that House Music was his calling, so around 2009 he started to steer towards the House Music scene... In 2012 he hooked up with Dj Ruben R, and many doors opened for him, performing at the Coney Island boardwalk and other venues. He met Chill Lover who put him on his Dj team and the rest is history... And he will continue to make history.
