Scott Turman
Scott Turman is an American technologist, entrepreneur, author, and podcast host. He is the Founder and CEO of BrightRay Publishing, an agency that helps business leaders and professionals become published authors.
Before entering the publishing industry, Scott spent over two decades as a software engineer and technologist. He wrote code and designed cryptographic systems for major institutions including NASA, the US Department of Defense, Disney, and other Fortune 500 companies. His technical background continues to inform his data-driven approach to business and branding.
Scott is the author of Conversations That Convert: Why Your Company Needs a Podcast That Scales Your Brand and How to Build Your Brand with a Book. He hosts the popular podcast Entrepreneurs, Executives, And Eccentrics where he interviews unique leaders in business and technology.
Scott resides in Maitland, Florida, with his wife, architect Birgit Turman, and their son. He is named after astronaut Scott Carpenter, a colleague of his father, Arthur Turman, at NASA.
