Scott Van Dyke

Scott Van Dyke - President of Houston’s American First EnergyAn oil and gas exploration executive in Houston, Texas, Scott Van Dyke earned a BS in commerce from Lexington, Virginia’s Washington and Lee University in 1980, and a BA in geology from Greeley, Colorado’s University of Northern Colorado in 1983. Mr. Van Dyke’s professional activities in the 1980’s involved helping his family’s company as it discovered some of the largest oil fields in The Netherland’s North Sea. After starting his own company, Anglo-Dutch Petroleum International, Inc., and working in Kazakhstan throughout much of the 1990’s, in 2000, Mr. Van Dyke formed Anglo-Dutch Energy LLC and began exploring for onshore oil and gas fields along the Gulf Coasts of Texas and Louisiana. In addition to having formed Anglo-Dutch Petroleum International, Inc. and Anglo-Dutch Energy LLC, in 2021, Mr. Van Dyke formed American First Energy LLC as a technology-driven oil and gas exploration company using leading-edge technology that integrates geology with new, proprietary seismic algorithms.
