I'm Ally McKenzie, a 32 year old food blogger based in Edinburgh, Scotland. I'm inspired by all things food! The French classics are my main inspiration, but i also have a love of traditional Scottish, Continental and Far Eastern cuisine! I am in awe of Alain Ducasse, the Roux family, Joel Robuchon and Pieree Koffmann and also absolutely love the recipes of British chef's such as Tom Kitchin, Tony Singh, Galton Blackiston, Marcus Wareing and Tom Kerridge to name but a few! I absolutely love deep, rich flavours and more than often my recipes involve red wine, rich stocks, butter and/or double cream!
