Matt Allen

I am a visual solutions and technology strategist. With experience and professional knowledge in design, development, planning, strategy, photography and film. I create solutions on various media formats such as websites, tablets, mobiles and even TVs along with physical sets and installations if required, I'm always able to adapt when needed to work within a products needs.

I'm a fast paced learner and am always looking to improve my skills and abilities, gaining more experience within the field and to keep moving my knowledge of design and development forward. I have a degree in Interactive Design and I like to be involved through every stage of a project focussing on true collaboration involving every member of the team to make sure the right decisions are made and the correct approach is taken. I'm a designer who spends just as much time in the terminal coding as I do in Photoshop.

I am a geek at heart and have a real passion for technology. Having knowledge of the inner workings of networks, servers and back-end services allows me to help out in as many areas as possible and to avoid creating solutions that are unrealistic or would have impact on the performance of the product. I run my own email and hosting server to keep me on my toes and am always willing to expand my code knowledge for projects, whether this be making iOS apps in Xcode using Objective-C, or tackling some Javascript for a web based game.
