Sea Breeze

I create jewellery and mixed media pictures inspired by my love of the seaside. Everything is handmade by me in Nottingham, using beach finds and resin. My work features seaside themes such as boats, fish and beach huts. I've always loved being by the sea, at any time of year and whatever the weather. I've even been beachcombing in a mini blizzard! After scouring beaches for treasures, including sea glass, pottery, wood, shells, rope and plastic, I craft them into lovely things to wear or display. Making something new from items that have been discarded is very satisfying and I really like the fact that they have a history. Who knows where they originally came from or what they were used for.
