Megan Sealy

Lubbock, Texas, United States

Megan Sealy is a second year undergraduate student at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX. While Megan is currently exploring her options in regards to majors in the Rawls College of Business school, her goal is to declare a major in the fall of 2015. She is currently interested in majoring in energy commerce; however, she is also interested in majoring in marketing. Her plan from there is to graduate in May of 2018 where she will then take time off before graduate school to travel the world and explore the different cultures that each country she visits has to offer.

Megan is currently taking a summer internship at Targetbase in Irving, Tx. Here she explores direct marketing in the client services department.

Megan understands that while school is her first priority, is important to be involved in school organizations. First, she is actively involved in Texas Tech's Beta Sigma chapter of Alpha Phi Omega. Through this organization, Megan has been able to grow based on its principles of, "Leadership, Friendship, and Service." Along with Alpha Phi Omega, Megan is also an active member of Tech Habitat for Humanity. This service based organization has provided Megan with many volunteer opportunities around Lubbock. Megan is also a part of two honor organizations, Alpha Lambda Delta, and Phi Eta Sigma. Megan takes pride in being actively involved in each of these organizations, and looks forward to joining more in the future.

While it seems to be difficult to find time outside of her busy schedule, Megan still finds time to enjoy traveling, singing, and building on the relationships she has made with her fellow Tech students.
