Sean Black

Sean is a 15 year Digital Veteran with experience in all marketing disciplines taking clients strategies and objectives beyond paper and delivering first of its kind creative thinking married with true holistic thinking.

Prior to joining Active International, Sean founded JL360 in September 2006 and then in 2008 became COO over JL Media, Sean previously founded Grey Direct’s E. Media Group in 1998. In 2002 he merged that division with Beyond Interactive and formed Beyond Entertainment, becoming the first Youth and Entertainment Digital Division for MediaCom NY.

Originally founded as a corporate trading company more than 25 years ago, Active International acquired underperforming assets, such as inventory, real estate and capital equipment, helping its clients use these assets to fund normal business expenditures and create cash savings and economic benefits that otherwise would not have been achieved.

Today, they continue to acquire assets, but we have evolved into a diversified marketing and business solutions provider. The marketplace relationships we've developed through our corporate trading model enables us to deliver customized solutions that directly impact our clients marketing and business goals..

Previous to Interactive advertising, Sean was an Account Director for Marke Communications on the IBM Direct Business and successfully developed the first IBM e.Business catalog in 1996. He also comes from three years of commercial editing and producing for such clients as; Mercedes Benz, Bounty and Purdue Chicken.
